I Heart You!!

Oh yes I do!! Michael and I went to Birmingham this weekend to catch up with some of his friends from uni. We spent the afternoon in the pub before nipping back to the hotel room to get changed. We were out again by 6.30pm so I went for a casual smart look.

Finally got my mitts on the heart print top from Asda I'd been lusting over in my pick of the prints post its much longer than I thought it would be, but this isn't a bad thing!!! My favourite smart jacket that I acquired from Simply Be a couple of years ago finally turned up after I was heart broken at the thought that I'd lost it! I love the satin detail to the lapels giving it a tuxedo look.

and a trip to Birmingham wouldn't be complete without spending a stupid amount of time in my spiritual home, Selfridges (mainly the food hall)

  1. I can see why you wanted the top! It is fabulous. I really love tan/black pairings lately. And you can never go wrong with heart print. ;) The rolled up jeans paired with the tuxedo inspired jacket is a great touch.

    1. It should go up to 24 I think all the asda range goes up to a 24. Hope this helps x x

  4. Love that top! It looks even better on that it did when you posted about it in your print blog....

    Oh Selfridges....I've actually never been to Birmingham, which given its only a city away from me is quite bad! But am going in the next few months....I've been to the Manchester Selfridges a few times, and I never quite want to leave once I'm in it....again, mainly for the food hall!! But love that pic of the Cath Kidston section!

    1. Birmingham is such a great city! I went to uni in Wolverhampton so I would often pop across to Brum. The selfridges is great too, manly because its so different to the London and Manchester ones xxx

  6. You look gorgeous! And every time I pass by Birmingham (never actually BEEN there), Selfriges is so alluring, and it looks like a spaceship or something. Good to know it's also pretty on the inside! x
