So the lovely folk over at Chesca approached me to do a review. I was a little bit weary because overall the range is a little too mature for me, but, I do believe in the still limited plus size clothing market, we as consumers shouldn't be so quick to dismiss any plus brand because there might just be something in there for you.
On further inspection I was easily able to pick out several pieces that I would be more than happy to have in my wardrobe, and Chesca themselves read me like a book and sent me the Black Jersey Peg Leg Jumpsuit.
I don't want to sound gushy but oh hell, sod it. The quality of this garment is amazing. The cut, the fabric, the look, everything. Originally priced at £125, this would have been WAY out of my price range. At the moment it has £50 making it a slightly more reasonable £75, which in reality, yes is still out of most peoples budget, but I truly felt so amazing in this garment, it is worth every single penny. Cue lots of pictures of me vogue-ing it up in my swanky jumpsuit.....
Ok, enough, enough.... The jumpsuit came with a black grosgrain belt with white stitching, but as per the stock photo I decided to style it with a different belt, I went with a mink coloured belt and shoes. I wore mine to a gig so I dressed it down with....... You guessed it, my denim jacket!!! Ha!!
|Ahh yes the distant look, leaning against a wall pose. Classic....|
My only quibble, is that on the picture on the website it would appear the jumpsuit is open to the waist with a panel.... there is no panel, which at first I was like, whaaat? but on reflection this is fantastic because you can mix it up by putting a whole world of different layers underneath.
Do you love it? I love it, really I do. If you do, or if anything else takes your fancy for that matter the guys over at Chesca have set up free delivery for you lovely lot when you enter the code mrsbebe - possibly the most exciting thing to happen to me on this blogging journey yet, a free delivery code in my name!!
