What a difference a year makes!

It's been an amazing year, so I thought I'd cover some of my personal highlights and fave outfits. As you know I've been feeling a bit down, so this is also a means of cheering myself up and a reminder of how far the blog has come!

January....

January was all about one thing... GOK! When Simply Be contacted me to attend the launch event for Goks shapewear range I was a) jumping around the room with joy b) thought they must have the wrong person and c) surely Gok wasn't going to be there?

Still regret looking like a miserable bitch!

He blooming well was! And I can honestly say, he is as nice in person as he seems on the TV and although I don't always agree with his persistence on shape dressing he couldn't have been more polite and friendly towards us.

February...

February saw me heading down to London again for the fabulous Plus London 2, organised by Claire of A Monkey Fatshionista. The evening consisted of fun, cupcakes, a fat catwalk and lots of fabulous fashion of course! And it was at Plus London that we first talked about doing something similar up North, and so, Plus North was born!

March....

March was full of fun again, I headed to London for the launch of the Clements Ribeiro for Evans collaboration, I was also Doncaster bound for the launch of the Simply Be store, and I somehow managed ending up cutting the ribbon, and I had love affairs with a flamingo shirt and some flared jeans!

April.....

April saw the start of the Swimwear Challenge, myself, Gina, Sarah and Mhairi went about trailing some of the the high streets best plus size swimwear. I was so proud of my swim wear ladies, it takes guts for anyone to parade in very little in a public forum, so thanks ladies, it was a pleasure to work with you, and of course thank you to the brands who participated, we hope you found your ideal summer swimsuit!

May...

May was filled with lazy sunny days, playing in the garden with my little girl, so in terms of blogging it was a pretty average month. It was the month I wore my awesome parrot jumpsuit though!

June....

Style wise June was the month I finally got my hands on some Clements Ribeiro. I'll be honest, I couldn't afford any of the items at full price, so I snapped up 2 of the bold print tops when they were reduced in the sale.

July.....

Well July was really all about Plus North for me personally, Toni and I are incredibly proud of the event we created, and can't thank everyone who supported us enough, everyone who helped, exhibitors and most importantly those of you who came along!

August....

August was a riot of colour, and included some of my favourite outfits!...

September... 

September was a varied month, I spoke about an issue close to my heart, suicide awareness. I got my boobs out in my first bra review, continuing with firsts, did my first vlog, went on my holibobs, and did some drunken singing!

October....

Oh guys.. October was "Blonde" month... Erm, let's just say it didn't last long!!

Once the blonde was gone I also got to hang out with some of my favourite ladies, Hanna and Caroline at a Tesco event...

November...

November was fun, Toni and I got the chance to travel to Liverpool to meet up with the So Fabulous Team at Very HQ, we had such a fun day trying all the clothes on and chatting about fashion and the great things to come from So Fabulous...

December....

December was the month I got my hair did! Yeh, although I went for the chop back in April-ish, this month I went super short! I also turned 33 this month, and celebrated in style at my favourite Burlesque night. We also had a bit of a rough time when my Nanna passed away on my birthday and MrBeBe lost his job, but you know what? I'm looking forward to 2013 with optimism, hope and excitement. Life is indeed too short so let's give 2013 a good spanking!!
